On January 11, 2018, we and our partners in the Advanced Foresight Group are inviting you to a Peer2Peer exchange of experiences. That evening, we’ll present an analog board game on the digitalization of industry that focuses above all on how we can avoid losing people – the most flexible component of production – to automation. We’ll try out the game together in 2 groups, with Verena Bischoff and André Winzer on hand as game facilitators.
The collaborative simulation game was chosen as a playful approach that takes participants on a mental journey into the world of digitalization and the factory of the future. As a team, they must make decisions, develop solutions with Industry 4.0, and save a company.
Participants make budget decisions and agree on a joint strategy. In this way, they experience how decisions are made, work as a group, and engage with digitalization at an operational level, which they then process in a very personal and cognitively intensive way. In the test phase with workers, apprentices, and dual-study students, the game also proved worthwhile for vocational training.
In addition to the game presentation, all guests can look forward to an open exchange of experiences. This includes a short talk by Bernhard Albert (Foresight Solutions) on “The Future of Crime”; Dr. Stefan Niederhafner (SUDECO – Foresight for Sustainable Transformation) sparks a discussion on how municipalities can adapt to climate change, and finally Christoph Keller (aveniture) reports on a current project.
Start of the event: 7:30 pm
Venue: Informationszentrum Sredzki44, Sredzkistr. 44, 10435 Berlin (Prenzlauer Berg)
Please register by email to winzer@schaltzeit.com in advance.
Places are limited to a maximum of 30 people. This is a Peer2Peer event aimed at futurists and those who want to become one. The evening will wind down informally over beer and wine…
