With the Advanced Foresight Group (AFG) the three service providers Foresight Solutions, Aveniture, and Schaltzeit have founded a joint network. To kick things off, they are hosting the first AFG Future Talk, presenting three underestimated trends: burnout, the skills shortage, and social media.
“The future is the most underused resource in companies” – that is the consensus among the network partners, and they want to change it with the Advanced Foresight Group. The AFG aims to support companies and civil society organizations in their futures work, with a particular focus on medium- and long-term developments.
“Burnout, skills shortage, and social media!”
Three widely underestimated trends form the starting point of the first AFG Future Talk:
- the drama of rising burnout rates,
- the real reasons behind the skills shortage, and
- the transformative power of social media.
How companies can benefit from trends
At the AFG Future Talk, Dr. Bernhard Albert (Foresight Solutions, Frankfurt), K. Christoph Keller (Aveniture GmbH, Freinsheim), and André Winzer (Schaltzeit GmbH, Berlin) discuss how companies can use
- participatory foresight workshops,
- knowledge-based foresight platforms, and
- trend impact analysis – which turns futures and scenarios into numbers –
to benefit from trends, and what role corporate culture plays in this.
