Challenge focus 2025: AI at the heart of telecom

This year's focus is on how artificial intelligence can help transform telecommunications networks and improve the customer experience for the long term.
Among other things, this involves using AI in network technology, for example to enable network management through autonomous processes, improve end-to-end service quality, or optimize network monitoring. In the area of data-driven AI, the goal is also to automate and efficiently manage large network data sets and the use of metadata. Resilience gets its due as well, especially improving network security with the help of AI.
With the submission phase complete, T Challenge 2025 has entered an exciting new phase.

Next step: final round in Bonn

The finalists now have the task of refining their ideas further. On June 2 and 3, the teams will meet at Deutsche Telekom's headquarters in Bonn to present their solutions and prove their skills in exciting pitches – with the goal of winning one of the coveted awards. A team from Schaltzeit will also be in Bonn in 2025 to follow the final two days of the competition up close.
