Grants4Apps Demo Day

For almost 100 days now, the first startups in the Bayer Grants4Apps Accelerator have been maturing their ideas, products, and services with the help of their mentors. At the end of their stay, they will present their hardware, software, and business models to the public. A total of five startups had the chance to benefit from the program and its funding:

  • Cortrium with a “wearable health data sensor”,
  • PharmAssistant with their smart pillbox and monitoring service,
  • FabUlyzer with their “wearable breath analyzer”,
  • Parica with a contactless system for measuring vital signs, and
  • Qompium with CardiMoni, a smartphone app for measuring vital signs and interacting with health experts.

The Demo Day on December 1, 2014, is not only an opportunity for these startups to present themselves and their results. Visitors can also “pitch” their own ideas and startups and network with the startups, experts, and participants in attendance.

Having already supported the accelerator’s successful kick-off event with more than 300 participants, Schaltzeit is now also accompanying the Demo Day with concept development, moderation, and coaching for the startups. Places will be limited, so please RSVP. The kick-off motto “noone leaves before 2 a.m.” is being raised a notch, and we hope everyone will stay until the first subway train runs again.
