Futures Literacy game as a web app – built with vibe coding
That’s exactly what our evening on February 24, 2026, is all about: we’re opening up the space for Future Alchemy – a playable web app that started as an idea and is now a digital space for experimentation. A place where we shuffle different “future ingredients” (topics, projections, scenarios) into new combinations – not to build forecasts, but to discover surprising perspectives and “what if” impulses.
No rigid predictions. No “this is how it’s going to be” claims. Instead: creative friction for the mind – and new questions that stick.
How does the evening work?
Lucas (Schaltzeit) takes you on the journey from a sketch in the drawer to a finished prototype – and shows how vibe coding (software development with AI as a sparring partner) accelerated this process. Not as a tech show, but as an honest look at how new ways of shaping ideas faster are emerging right now.
And then things get practical: we test Future Alchemy together, try out combinations, build mini-scenarios – and collect feedback. What works? What surprises you? What’s missing? What makes you want more?
What to expect
🔸 Short introduction: what do we mean by futures literacy – and why is it worthwhile?
🔸 Story & insight: from idea to web app (incl. vibe coding / AI as a sparring partner)
🔸 Live demo: how Future Alchemy works
🔸 Hands-on: try it yourself, combine, discover mini-scenarios
🔸 Exchange: feedback, questions, thoughts – in a relaxed Schaltzeit atmosphere (with snacks)
Why we’re doing this
Because the future isn’t just something you “understand” – it’s something you can practice: shifting perspectives, recognizing assumptions, opening up possibilities. And because playful formats often start exactly where language is still too blunt.
