The hands-on training program introducing Industry 4.0

In three complementary modules, the Akteure 4.0 training program raises awareness of the challenges and questions of digitalization and stimulates participatory change processes in the company. Embedded in Module I is the “Smart Factory” simulation game, which has participants make active decisions about digitalization and is accompanied by introductions to key digitalization concepts and the launch of an idea development process for your company.

Collaborative simulation game

Smart Factory

The collaborative simulation game was chosen as a playful approach that takes participants on a mental journey into the world of digitalization and the factory of the future. As a team, they must make decisions, develop solutions with Industry 4.0, and save a company.

We find the combination of modules and focus areas tailored to your needs
Participants make budget decisions and agree on a shared strategy. In doing so, they experience how decisions are made, work as a group, and engage with the topic of “digitalization” on an operational level, which they then process in a very personal & cognitively intensive way.

The target group is shop-floor workers and related occupational groups as well as their direct supervisors. During the test phase with workers, apprentices, and dual-study students, the program also proved worthwhile for use in vocational training.

To fully unlock your employees’ digitalization potential, we recommend completing all three modules of the Akteure 4.0 program. That way, what has been learned can be applied and the first steps toward shaping digitalization in your company can be planned. The modules and the simulation game can also be requested individually.

We offer discounts to educational institutions for use in research and teaching. For trainers who want to offer the training program themselves, we run train-the-trainer sessions. We provide advice when analyzing your digitalization needs ahead of the training program, as well as when implementing ideas or change processes.
